Our Practice, Our People

We are an Ophthalmology practice specialising particularly in the treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, pterygium and lid conditions. Other eye diseases which are treated include macular degeneration with intravitreal injections.

Our clinical team consists of our two nurses and an ophthalmic technician who assist Dr Glastonbury in assessing your eye conditions and performing diagnostic procedures, investigations and operation bookings.

Our friendly and professional team of reception staff will assist you with appointment bookings, enquiries and can provide informative answers to questions you may have. Appointments are available Monday to Friday. Prior to your appointment, please ensure you have a current referral from your referring doctor or optometrist so you may claim your Medicare rebate. Unless specified, referrals from your GPs and optometrists are current for 12 months, while specialist referrals only remain current for three months.

Our Location

The practice is located at 130 Ross River Road in a purpose-built medical building. Our premises are within easy access to public transport with a bus stop 100 metres from our door. Chemists and pathology are also within our local vicinity. Ample onsite parking is available.

The facility has certified body-protected electrical areas throughout for patient safety. The entire layout has been designed and built to comply with full disability access guidelines. We have taken advantage of being able to design the building for lower power consumption, and the majority of electrical power is supplied by a large solar panel system.
